Boston for the 4th

This year we were able to celebrate the 4th in Boston. We went up with our good friends the Carters. On Friday we walked the Freedom Trail and saw many awesome historical sights. On Saturday we hung out on the Charles River and waited for the fireworks. It was a spectacular show and a great weekend!

This is a statue of Paul Revere and the church in the background where the lanterns were hung.

The small balcony of the brick building is where the Declaration of Independence was first read.

How fun! I'm so jealous. It's too hot to do anything but stay in the pool or stay in the a/c out here. Don't ya miss it?
